Job Details

Minimum 2 years experience in Cardiovascular specialty required

peripeheral vascular procedures experience preferred, but willing to train.

Current California licensure as a Physician's Assistant

Practitioner with prescriptive authority

Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS provider required

Responsibilities

•Responsible for providing services to the cardiology patients in a variety of settings. Willing to work at two locations.

•In coordination with a supervising physician and within scope of practice defined by the Board of Physician Assistants performs History and Physicals, orders and interprets diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribes medication and assists in the operating room.

•Collaborates with all clinical staff assuring compliance with core measures, SCIP and other hospital quality indicators and processes

•This position may require flexibility of hours
