Kids 1st Primary Care is hiring a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant (M.A.) to join our pediatric primary care team. This role supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pediatric patients for exams and assist providers during visits
- Take and document vital signs and medical histories
- Administer vaccines, injections, and medications as directed
- Perform basic laboratory procedures and specimen collection
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared
- Support front office staff to maintain smooth patient flow
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Pediatric or primary care experience preferred
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) or other EMR systems is a plus
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office
- Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented
- Eager to learn and grow within the practice
