Full-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan

  • Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations

  • Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education

  • Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services

  • Manage follow-ups, referrals, and continuity of care

  • Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EHR

  • Address patient concerns with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical guidelines

  • Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and clinic staff to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications

  • Education: MSN/DNP (NP-C or NP-BC) or MPAS (PA-C)
  • Licensure: Current, clear, and unrestricted California state license and DEA
  • Experience: 1+ years in Internal Medicine preferred, but not required
  • Leadership: 1+ years leadership experience preferred, but not required
  • Technical: Proficient with EHR medical charting
  • Attributes: Team-oriented, adaptable, and flexible; strong written and interpersonal communication skills
