Pediatrician

Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients.
  •  Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
  • Perform routine physical exams, screenings, and immunizations to promote preventive healthcare and early detection of health issues.
  • Monitor growth and development, addressing any developmental concerns
  • Coordinate care with specialists, allied health professionals, and community resources to ensure holistic and integrated healthcare for patients.
  • Provide patient education and counseling to parents and caregivers on nutrition, behavior, and safety
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documentation, and billing codes in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Stay current with advances in pediatric medicine through continuing education and professional development activities

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California.
  • Completion of residency training in Family Medicine from an accredited residency program.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based medical practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally competent, and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
