Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team full-time. This role is vital for ensuring accurate billing, timely insurance claim processing, and smooth financial operations. OBGYN billing experience is preferred, but we are happy to train a motivated candidate eager to grow in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Post payments and reconcile accounts
- Manage claim denials and appeals
- Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Collaborate with front office and clinical staff to optimize workflows
Qualifications
- Experience in medical billing preferred; specialty practice experience a plus
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) or Athena EMR preferred
- Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance guidelines
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Professional, dependable, and eager to learn and grow
