Our goal is to stabilize and treat clients who present with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Mood Disorders, Life transition issues, and Psychotic Disorders. Most of our referrals come from Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), Optum, Aetna, Cign EAP, and Private pay clients (We will credential you with all insurances). We also provide Life Coaching and consulting for small businesses.

Resilience Counseling cares about their clinicians and staff. They want everyone to succeed and reach their goals. Our leadership strives in helping our clinicians grow and reaching the goals they have for themselves both professionally and personally. Our leadership will pay for trainings that will help them reach their full potential as clinicians. We are here to support our clinicians and staff in any way possible. We also provide yearly bonuses for full-time clinicians (seeing 20+ clients a week). We are a fast growing practice and there are other ways to grow in our practice as well. Such as motivational speaking, educational presentations for non-profits and schools, manager positions.

This position offers very competitive hourly wage/salary.

Responsibilities:

The therapist/counselor will be responsible for patient caseload and will provide individual, and family therapy. The therapist/counselor will conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments. Counselor will collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan, and assist in coordinating discharge planning. The Counselor has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the family, referral source and other service providers as needed.

Core Job Duties

  • Provides ethical individual, family therapy to assigned clients following program curriculum provided by clinical director

  • Completes all required documentation ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, state regulations, Joint Commission standards and Medical Needs Criteria. This includes the following documents:

  • Treatment plan, Diagnosis

  • progress notes (after every session)

  • Discharge plan

  • Continuation of service

Other Required Tasks:

  • Maintains positive relationships with all staff

  • Communicates honestly and respectively to staff and other clinicians.

  • Maintains healthy boundaries with clients and staff

  • Asks for and accepts feedback from supervisors

  • Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to clients and staff

  • Communicates significant patient developments to supervisor

  • Participates in quality improvement activities and contribute to the success of the organization

  • Pursues professional development through participation in education and training programs

  • Contributes positively to the morale of other staff

  • Performs other tasks, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Licensed in the state of California

  • Or close to taking their license exam

  • Masters Degree

  • Spanish speaking preferred

  • Able to commute to our office in Palm Desert

  • Working on site or remotely (or both)
